REVIEW:
Beyond the looks, which are the best availed today (minimizing some of the power ranger style characteristic of most boots), this is an incredibly comfortable boot. I normally wear a 42 to 42.5 business shoe/running shoe (Euro sizing), and about a 43 Sidi cycling shoe. However with this boot, I went up two sizes (Sidi goes up in half increments) to a 44 so that I could take the rather cheap inner sole out, and replace it with a slightly taller but more padded running shoe inner sole for added comfort. This works exceptional with thin socks and works well enough with socks in thickness' one might attain from stores like the Gap for winter rides.
The interior to the boot is constructed with perforated leather and in hot weather (90 degree F plus) is a surprisingly cool boot.

Beyond the comfort mark, there are wads of replaceable parts on this boot - toe plate, shin plate, ankle bone plate, as well as heel plate. The boot is closed by both a zipper which extends from top to bottom on the side, and then has a velcro strip which closes over the top of the zipper effectively sealing it from the elements (and one might surmise if you were hell bent on air friction coefficients, making the boot a bit more aero?!).
The boot as a whole provides a fairly flexible range of motion, including an adjustable rear vertebra, all the while encasing your foot to mid shin with the greatest of protection availed today!!!

Lastly, on a ride, the boot does several things exceptionally well because of the sticky and flexible undersoles - sticks to the pegs like they are glued, gives you feedback as to where it resides on said pegs, as well as it actually is a comfortable boot to walk in. The only downside of the boot is that the thermoplastic rear support vertebras tend to squawk after awhile. From several online reviews read before purchase, I learned that you need only to apply a touch of WD40 to rid the errant sound from your repertoire.

All in all, a fantastic boot indeed.
