This
pic is an apt tangential and metaphorical commentary
of a designer in one profession turning designer in
another. To the right of me is a picture of Fabio
Taglioni working his magic upon leaded pencil with
foreground aparati in the days of old. Being a rather
devout wirehead and one who early on shunned the paper
and pen for the whisk of a mouse to do modeling of
worlds not yet seen or understood (CAD modeling in
the early days comprised itself of "rather basic"
Euclidean form topologies at best!!!), I find myself
fascinated at the level of achievement with such rudimentary
tools. Then again, when eyes are closed and worlds
are modeled beyond space time continuums which constrain
normative gravitational pulls of muscles moved and
electrical current flowed, this area of the museum
simply reconfirms the notion that the mind has yet
to be surpassed as the ultimate rendering engine of
life's little ditties (including two cylinder little
ditty thumpers)!
