the DUCATI factory and museum VISIT!!!!!!!!!

Not quite sure why, but the back end of these early 70s to early 80s world championship bikes seems to give one the sensate of the speed and scream involved! During this era of racing, Ducati started concentrating on the design and development of the "twins", of which we see closest to us the #9 750 Imola Desmo, followed by the #3 750 SS of Scuderia Spaggiari Ducati team, then to the 900 NCR bike which was built by the "independent racing department" of Ducati (3 racing fanatic and boy geniuses who made up the partnership of NCR), and lastly to the 1981 #2 TT2 600 whose ultra light space age frame is the hallmark of bikes today (it was designed by Taglioni in collaboration with specialty manufacturer Verlicchi).

The road less traveled (much less at low speeds) does not exist in Italy. Note the white striped line in the middle of the Autostrada coming back from Bologne. Finally figured out that it really meant, "drive as you need to"! Gottah love those Italians. Fantastico. Click on the thumbnail image to do the dance.

Got questions...?...Got milk...?...send eMail to Jim Goodlett if you got either!!
