the DUCATI factory and museum VISIT!!!!!!!!!

Silly little pic, really it is! Loads of new scooters parked outside a factory. Boring it seems. Till of course you find out that all the 998's (including a handful of 998R)'s, 748's, Monsters, and 900ss' parked near the entrance were for the visiting motorcycle journalists coming to blather on about World Ducati Week 2002. The rotters were given wads of great parting gifts like Ducati bags, apparel to chide those not in the know, in some cases helmets, and then to top it off, keys to said scoots for a week. And to bugger it all, the press tent down the way served ice cold drinks from newly minted babettes to those with the right credentials. I, like the lass in the blue jeans coming our way in the pic, left scratching my head as to how I could quickly print out a few press credentials from my Palm Piloted Cell Phone. Now let's bloody well see, which !?$#! button was that?

The road less traveled (much less at low speeds) does not exist in Italy. Note the white striped line in the middle of the Autostrada coming back from Bologne. Finally figured out that it really meant, "drive as you need to"! Gottah love those Italians. Fantastico. Click on the thumbnail image to do the dance.

Got questions...?...Got milk...?...send eMail to Jim Goodlett if you got either!!
