the DUCATI factory and museum VISIT!!!!!!!!!

Finally awash with our pilgrimage to motorcycle mecca. As to the parking job, how does the saying go, "When in Rome..." (note also the lack of hubcaps on our Alfa Romeo replacement (that's another story!) - the 1.4L Opel Astra surprisingly could do about 125mph on the AutoStrada with 4 people resting comfortably within). About a two and some odd hour drive from our villa overlooking Pisa and Lucca, we arrived in Bologne, found (or made!) a parking space right near the factory/museum entrance in spite of all the people arriving for World Ducati Week 2002 (all the people added up to better than 30,000 plus throughout the week). Life is good when you have experience in proper parking jobs within your own country!

The road less traveled (much less at low speeds) does not exist in Italy. Note the white striped line in the middle of the Autostrada coming back from Bologne. Finally figured out that it really meant, "drive as you need to"! Gottah love those Italians. Fantastico. Click on the thumbnail image to do the dance.

Got questions...?...Got milk...?...send eMail to Jim Goodlett if you got either!!
