the end of the day I had hooked up with a couple of
the local boys, Jeff and Ryan (who asked me to help
hold up the retaining wall between sessions…).
Turns out they were members of a Suzuki Cup endurance
team. We go to go at it for quite a while (although
I am certain they were also members of Sandbaggers
Anonymous). The first is Ryan pointing out exactly
where he planned on passing me J, the second is me
wondering exactly how I got myself into that mess
in the first place. Seriously, it was great to be
able to go out on the track and be able to ride with
guys who actually know what they are doing on a track,
and who are nice enough to show a rookie what to do." |
