But
back to the reason we came...WERA had a good go
of allowing silly little boys to flog silly little
scoots around fab tracks as they have done for 60
plus odd years in Europe...we're talking motoGP
50 scoots that the Euro's live and breath, though
this isle across the pond is now beginning to recognize
as a potentially viable sport...then again, in the
midwest and west of the Americas, the mini class
is at times a class unto itself that has the most
highly competitive riding there is, especially given
that there is only so much that can be done with
a 50cc or 75cc cheater motor to get bottom, mid,
and top speeds...so competition is fast, furious,
as well as cheshire grinning good fun...
in prep for the ensuing race, we see one Rusty Nations
giving the Derbi GPR50 throttle some warmup chop,
whilst one Jim Goodlett pretends to know how to
put on the palm protectors which saved Rusty's hands
in the previously pictured bottle cap tarmac induced
slide...right then, click for the next in sequence...
