It comes in 3s is what they say...perhaps it is all devisable by 3...might even be that three's the keys...or maybe it has to do with systems theory and Paul Ryan's theories on threeing...either or anyway, this quite wondrous cool day in August of 2004 had three lads coming together for fab smart enduro ride of sorts...or so they thought...

The planned ride venture was to start upon Hutchinson Isle, move to the dredge pits right across the river in SC, and then flog some fire roads further up the way to Hardiville to Richmond...to start with, Wade showed at the rendezvous point with a pickup truck and his daughter's BMX bike...with 6 wheels to his credit (which is a multiple of 3 mind you), Lee and I immediately cried fowl (for neither of us could take getting flogged around the dirt by a grinning Wade on a pink 12 inch dirt bike (again the bike data is a multiple of 3)...so off the two of us went for a six mile flog round Hutchinson Isle (2x6=??)...but in the midst of leaving, we had to pit stop under the graciousness of a shade tree as we went hammer to tongs on Lee's first electro demon, which no doubt jumped from my first off road expedition with the three of us in March (note the three again (you well have gotten the 3 thing by this time in the discuss))...

This time the pics were taken with my 3rd digi capture device (have I flogged this three long enough, he pondered??!!)- a Treo 600 with digital cam built inwards...resized to fit the thumbnails, the digi phone cam took decently respectable pictures considering the amount of dust kicked skyward...

in the non rolled over view, the shade tree cometh, while in the rolled over view, Lee is packing back said tools from our Mr. Fixit routine, which we would see more of as the day progressed (rotten electro demons to be sure of)...
