a
mouthful could be disgorged here for this image...but
the quick to it is, the aerobatic plane before your
eyes, was dropped from the heavens in requisite
style as were about to leave, and it is owned by
none other than Patty
Wagstaff who in "1991 became the
first woman to win the title of U.S. National Aerobatic
Champion, a title she then defended in 1992 and
1993...Wagstaff was a six-time member of the U.S.
Aerobatic Team, which competes in world competition
every two years, until her retirement from competition
in 1996...Today, Wagstaff is a premier aerobatic
pilot in air shows throughout the United States,
performing dynamic and precise routines in her Extra
300L"...which we were fortunate
to view coming in for a spot of gas (piloted by
her hubby), who was bringing it back from an airshow...lucky
lad...
might note, really one of the truly great things
about our rides, for we never know what we will
end up seeing (besides chasing Lee), though we are
always guaranteed something new with vile amounts
of fab fun...good on Lee for taking us in this direct...
