artistry in motion this one is...for as we sat down to a table in Harold's Country Club and fed our selves on portions of fine dining crackers in plastic appetizers, Kevin saw this notice upon the wall...we were a day late and apparently a dollar short for a poker run that benefited ABATE and MPO (which i confess to not knowing what the later represents (and mind you that is all I claim to confess))...

in the rolled over image we see that someone has taken great care to give announcement to a uniquely southern riding experience ~ a poker run (no need to use the pokeher metaphor given the graphics) that starts and ends at strip clubs...my bet is that:

a) whoever drew the graphics understood the goings on at the start and end points (no metaphorical pun needed here), and...

b) this was a packed house ride raising serious money for some charitable organization in need...

on the face of it, one has to laugh till one wets themselves...what a uniquely north american thing to do ~ that of using a house of ill repute to organize a ride of folks that stand on the outside of common prudish values...
