we circled back towards the Dakar plains, having a go at a ditch filled witha spot of water and bottomless mud as thick as molassis to test the metal of our pedal...

in the non-rolled over image, one FTJ finds the off beat line that allowed for easy crossing of the water filled mud ditch, instead of getting stuck like some unnamed person I know did months before in this very same locale...buggers really...in the rolled over image, John has a go with the same effortless flog up the mud embankment...

lucky for me I made this one without having a go at feeding the fishes...
