So what does one get when you cross a cheshire grin
with a delirious primp for the digicam, and as well
a set of scoots that balance on their own...?...Try,
exactly what you see in this pic plus the addition
of near heat stroke whilst doing the bit of tugging
needed to unstick two well stuck scoots...
right before these two pics were shot, I decided to
have a go at the bottomless canal crossing in order
that I might stay ahead of FTJ as we cross the wide
open plains...not to be outdone, the aforementioned
lad waited to see if I made it (didn't!), then he
moved 20 feet down stream thinking about how he would
make the grade and then most likely gloat from atop
the embankment as I writhed around like a fish out
of water...alas it was not to be, for lucky me, during
my fit of wheel spin to try and unsucessfully get
up the opposite bank, I spy FTJ, who off to my right,
hits the bottom, runs his front up the other side,
stalls the bike, hits the horn, and subsequently plops
over...
its good to have a comrade in arms...
that said, had he not done the heavy lifting to drag
my scoot (and his) out of the muck, I would have said
there is justice on the high plains after all...in
this case, I'll keep my heat stroked pie hole closed...
