Having traversed another 20 or so mile, I arrived at Roebling Road in time to watch Savannahian and ESSCAPEr transplanted to HOTlanta, Rusty Nations, grid the start of a smarting vintage race...in view with Rusty was this loverly racing red Italian Aermacchi 350 Sprint scoot, run by a lad who I may have met some year or so ago...an extraordinaire ride shod in the old glass fibre trim and design of yesteryear...

from the time the flag dropped this lad never looked back, and thundered to a winning form in spite of being down on the horsepower to some other fab historic scoots that gave chase with fevered pitch...must also say, the sound that emminated from this vintage racing scoot was absolutely incredible, giving reverence to racing days and lads who but are a fleeting memory...

well done lad(s), well done indeed...
