and then all seemed to go wrong...as Steve and Jack came out of the woods and onto the trail, Steve's front seemed to have want for a bit of steering lock at a certain angle...not wanting to end arse over elbows, Jack and Steve paused for find the errant issue...

in the non rolled over image, they put the belly upon a stump while trying to assess the issue...some "how many off road riders does it take to screw in a light bulb later", the entire crew had come about to offer the damage analysis...later on IM after Steve had popped his bike to the truck and begrudgingly driven home early, the report came back:

"Arrrrrggggghhhhh!!!! Problem found. The %%$%&$^^#^ steering lock dog snapped off inside the steering head. It showered the lower bearing with billions of metal filings, so the bearings will have to be replaced. Of course, the bearings were otherwise fine. Crapo. Well, at least it'll be back in business in a week or so. "

look forward to Steve joining back in the fray soon enough......
