nearing the end of the ride, the quite oft used [and abused] Sony DSC-U30 finally decided to had enough and thus went the way of past mirrors (snapping to snapped off)...

these were the last pics of Steve going into what looks to be brush but is instead quite a culvert some 8 feet deep with Mississippi mud wanting to grab hold of the tyres...in the rolled over image, Commander Steve appears barely visible in the over exposed pic (guess that is what a sub commander is supposed to do)...

in all, superb ride with challenging bits along the way and quite good snaps of nearly epic proportions (thanks Commander Steve)...another great ESSCAPE to say the least...
