Forget
what the Brit mags say about this bike...heck, forget
what the Italians say about this bike...for no matter
how high or higher the praise may be, nothing will
prepare you for being as gobsmacked as you will most
surely become by seeing this bike in the flesh...how
anyone (including Ducati) could have ever improved
upon Trambulini's design of the 916 genre scoots,
remains a certifiable mystery, BUT Ducati did it with
999...from the frame welds, to the splendid rear stay,
to the quite delicious instrument cluster, to that
over under headlight cluster, this scoot defines beauty
and one might say, creates [need] from [want] in the
most reasonable of mortals...splendid indeed... |
